granda was born on the old kent road a stones throw from his beloved millwall football,he met his
wife sadie in hexham general hospital while been treated for wounds he received in the war ,they had
two children ,daughter jean son george , grandchildren & great grandchildren whom they adored,
granda passed away on sunday hes now at pease with sadie,will never be forgotten always inour
hearts.xxxxx

Granda would have been 90 today 12th July. Can't believe it's 3 months - I miss him so much.

today we said goodbye as we laid you to rest with your beloved sadie, all your family and friends were there to say goodbye to a real gentleman who has left an inpact on us all it wasnt a day to say goodbye but a day to celebrate your life whitch you lived to the full ,we will never forget you. xx
I will miss you granda
My Granda died on sunday morning, i will miss him very much,Joyce and I visited him on saturday afternoon, he was in his usually good spirits, asking how his beloved Millwall were doing.
Now he is at peace with my much missed Granny, am sure she is telling him off for something.

Loved from afar
I am George's great niece, living in Brisbane, Australia. I only met Great Uncle George a few times, but both were emotional, memorable and happy experiences. My grandfather Francis Webb was his brother and the similarities were remarkable. They were both gentle and loving with a mischievous glint in their eye. I am very grateful that I got the chance to meet him. I know his loss is more keenly felt by his more immediate family but I am very saddened by his passing but happy to think he is reunited with other family members who have passed before him.
Irreplaceable
My granda will be sorely missed by those around him and his friends and family across the world. A more kind and generous man I'm yet to meet and family at Christmas time just won't be the same without him.
